Me so far
For as long as I can remember, I've been telling stories. Not always in the most traditional sense, but through mediums like lego battles with my brother and creating elaborate tales of epic adventure and betrayal with my friends on the playground. While these stories were probably not much to brag about, they still put an insatiable need to create in my soul that I have not yet been able to get over. Because of this, I never stopped creating. In middle school, I'd wake up at 7am every morning, gather all the lego pieces I could find, and build sets to make stop motion films. Every school project I would twist the rules so I could somehow turn in a movie instead of an essay or test. Around this time, I also started playing bass, which I would take with me into high school where my band and I would win our school talent show, play several local shows, and release two EP's all of which are still some of my fondest memories.
Once I started college, I created scripts and films every chance I could. Not a season went by where I didn't write or complete a short film. While I did experience some of the lows of my life in this time, I came out of them stronger and with a purpose to create no matter what. I'm not sure where the future is leading me, but I know wherever I go, storytelling will always be in front, guiding me down the path :)
