How It Started

After making In The Nick of Time, I took a break for a while and focused on music and school, spending the majority of my year helping other students on sets and building my experience. Over this time, I realized that I got the most inspiration from the macabre and spooky. Something about the weird, others in society that can't help what they are... It inspired me.

I think everyone has had times of feeling like a monster. Looking in the mirror and seeing something you think is vile and uncomfortable. This story started and ended in that place. I wanted to write a character with so much insecurity that he let it define him. He truly felt like a monster, through and through.

Not to spoil it but this is one with a happy ending. A very simple story about love and friendship and relationships. Is it perfect? No. Are the shots rushed? Yeah... I had 8 weeks to write, produce, and edit it for my film class, but I still love the core themes it has and will always cherish it :)
